Dental Assistant Training
Dental assistants work closely with dentists and dental hygienists to perform a variety of procedures, including patient, clinical, laboratory, and administrative tasks. Dental assistants may take x-rays, dental impressions, and other preventive and restorative techniques. All of these things are covered in the training provided by American Career College. The program at ACC will also prepare you for Coronal Polish Certification and Pit and Fissure Certification, as well as California Radiation Safety Certification.
In addition to direct patient care, many dental assistants play an important role in helping the dental facility run smoothly by booking appointments, greeting patients, and assisting with administrative tasks.
